About the position

The role of Department and Service Manager is a key position within our organization, reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will have full responsibility for ensuring that the Service Department in Sandefjord delivers high quality, optimal capacity utilization and sustainable profitability.

The role is built on two main pillars:
  • Operational leadership and resource management
You will have overall responsibility for personnel within the department, including service technicians and administrative support. Your task is to ensure that we have the right competencies available and that our resources are managed efficiently to meet customer needs.
  • Commercial development
You will drive growth within our aftermarket and service portfolio. This includes proactive sales of service agreements, pricing of complex tenders, and preparation of technical proposals. You will play a key role in building long-term relationships with customers in both the private and public sectors.

Key responsibilities and tasks

  • Strategic resource planning: Ensure optimal capacity utilization and logistics through overall planning of schedules and technician resources
  • People and culture: Motivate and support employees, drive competence development, and build a strong, solution-oriented team
  • Financial management: Budget responsibility for the department, with continuous follow-up and reporting of KPIs to management
  • Quality and HSE: Responsibility for compliance with the ISO quality management system, including active deviation handling and follow-up of operational environmental measures
  • Technical sales support: Preparation of technical solution proposals and commercial follow-up of customer inquiries

Market-leading technology

Enwa is positioned at the forefront of the green transition. In this role, you will lead work with technologies such as:
  • EnwaMatic® – our patented, chemical-free water treatment solution for closed heating and cooling systems
  • RO systems – advanced reverse osmosis and desalination plants
  • Specialized Legionella technologies – Enwa H2o Titanium AOP and Enwa Bifipro
  • HVAC technical service for heating and cooling systems
We are also experiencing significant growth in industrial wastewater treatment, including the development of solutions that enable water reuse, where the Service Department plays a key role as a long-term service partner.

Qualifications and your profile

We are looking for a leader who combines strong technical competence with a clear commercial mindset.
  • Education: Technical education (HVAC, process engineering, mechanical, electrical or automation disciplines)
  • Experience: Proven leadership experience from a technical sector is required. Experience from HVAC and building operations, or strong process understanding, as well as insight into service and aftermarket dynamics, is a strong advantage
  • Languages: You must be fluent in a Scandinavian language and able to communicate effectively in written English and Norwegian. English is used in technical documentation and collaboration with European sister companies and suppliers
  • Personal qualities: You are structured, decisive and able to build trust with both customers and colleagues. You thrive in a proactive role where you can influence both operations and results, and you motivate others to perform at their best

We offer

  • A central leadership role in an innovative, solid and Eco-Lighthouse certified company
  • The opportunity to work with world-leading technologies that address real environmental challenges
  • A strong professional environment within Enwa and the EnviroWater Group
  • Competitive terms and an informal yet professional working environment
